WHAT: Norfolk Planning Commission

PUBLIC HEARINGS AND AGENDA HIGHLIGHTS: A public hearing will be held to consider an amendment to Article 27-7 of the Official Municipal Code to update the equivalent zoning classifications for properties that could become the jurisdiction of the city by annexation or addition. The commissioners will also consider the recommendation to modify article 27-7.
A public hearing will be held at the request of Grimes Asphalt & Paving Corp. to review a conditional use license to operate a hot mix asphalt plant on property generally located a quarter of a mile west of South Victory Road and East Monroe Avenue. Commissioners will also consider asking city staff to prepare a conditional use permit for discussion and action at the next regular planning committee meeting.
A public hearing will be held at the request of Seven County Spirits to consider a conditional use permit for a microdistillery on the property at 214 and 216 W. Norfolk Ave. Commissioners will also consider asking city staff to prepare a conditional use permit for discussion and action at the next meeting of the planning committee to license the microdistillery.
DISHES / SUB-DIVISIONS: Stewards will consider the final plate recommendation of the Blum-Jasperson addition.
WAIVERS: Commissioners will consider the recommendation of a sidewalk waiver requested by Stephen Karmazin for a property located at 4511 W. Lilly Lane / 3111 N. 45th St. These items were tabled at the December 7th meeting.
OTHER BUSINESS: The commissioners will approve the cancellation of the planning committee meeting of January 4, 2022.
Commissioners will hear a building permit report for November 2021.
